what bike/tricycle do you have for your 18 month old
for DD I had my mom buy her a smart trike and we barley used it  I work FT and on the weekends I usually went out and didn't bring it along.
I wasn't going to get one for DS (DD was pink so I sold it) but we got DD a bike this year for xmas and I am making it a point to find time for her to use it!! so I would like to be able to get DS a bike/tricycle. I like the idea of the smart trike but don't know if I really need all that esp. since its meant for 9 month plus. I know I need something to be able to push him so maybe going that way again is the right way.
so I was wondering what you have for you 18M old (even if its the smart trike)

At that age I never had a trike for the boys. What about a red wagon to pull them in?

My DS is only 14 months - but i bought this for xmas to use in the spring as a stroller! Im so annoyed bc i paid full price, and now it is on sale for 55 bucks. This is an awesome price for this trike!
Ive seen it for 100 on TRU and 125 on Kohls.

really when did you start bike with them. I already feel like I am behind with DD... my friends son is only a couple months older and he rides a 2 wheeler (they are 4) granted I know he is young for 2 wheeling but DD barely knows how to pedal cause I never really put her on a bike/tricycle so I feel she is behind maybe she isn't and my friend is just a nut with her kids learning how to pedal/ride a bike.

We have this one for dr whose 21 months now but we had it since March. We didn't use it a to. But it's nice I can push her. We got dd1 a trike with no parent handle, thanks dh lol, and we hated every moment of it. Dd hated peddling long but the. We had to farty the bike back etc. So anyway I would def get a parent handle. While I don't love this 3 in 1, I think it's a little flimsy, I think they are like that , I like that it will grow with her and I can push it. Dd2 likes to go in it. We will have it for another few years so the $$ is worth it.

I was debating this one but what's the difference between the all terrain one and this one. The all terrain one is over a $100 on amazon

I think it has different style tires

I think for his 3rd birthday he got big wheels. Not that he didn't know how to ride the trike. They had them in school. For his 4th he got his bicycle and for his 5th he got the ezyroller. For DS2 he started using the big wheels when he was 2. They birthdays are in the summer so used them in the summer. I don't even remember when he got at 2. DS1 was small for his age and had some delays so was a late walker. Now he's fast and loves riding, skating, etc. LOL

If you contact the store where you bought it from they may price match you, or you can even return it and purchase it for $55. Not sure which store you got it from but most companies are pretty good with matching.
