hi!!!
hey girls, sorry haven't been online for awhile... to make a long story short-
i actually prematurely ruptured my water bag at 24 weeks, and have been in the hospital (here in chicago) for 4 weeks, now.
so far, so good. i am off continuous monitoring, but still on partial bedrest and have a 30 min. daily pass to go off the antepartum unit (which i use to come to the library and check e-mails).
i won't be discharged until i have this baby which could take me until the first week of november--- 34 weeks is the longest they would keep me until inducing me...
hope all is well with everyone and the soon-to-be mothers!

****UPDATED****
i may be able to go home in 2 weeks (i'll be at 32 weeks then) if everything stays the same, which is that i'm not showing any signs of infection, and the baby's not in any distress. i'd have a home health nurse come twice a day to do fetal monitoring---
then i'd come back to the hospital to be induced at 34 weeks... can't believe i've been here for 6 weeks now!
we're in the home stretch! hope everything's well with everyone!

Sorry to hear you are going through this. It might seem bad now but once you hold your little baby it will be so worth it. Best wishes to you.

I'm so sorry that happened to you!
Which hospital are you in? I'm delivering at Prentice/Northwestern and due November 4.
I hope the bed rest isn't too bad and your little one arrives when he/she is supposed to healthy & happy.
