teacher gift collection ques
Ive been put in charge of collecting money for the teachers holiday gift for my dds pre-k class.
We are asking $15 per child.
DD has 1 teacher, 1 assistant teacher and then theres an aid to one of the girls in the class. The aid does help with the other kids in the class.
How would you distribute the funds?
Theres 13 kids in the class. Not sure if all will give money.
Would the teacher get more than the assistant?

I think the teacher should get more than the assistant. I think the 1:1 aide should get something nominal as she's really there and should be working with that one particular student. Maybe $100 to the teacher, $75 for the assistant and $20 for the 1:1 aide?

I think this is good. And I would think the parent of the kid getting 1:1 would give something to that aide as well.

When I was a 1:1 aide, I got a gift from the parents of my student. I think it's very nice of you to think of her!
