Spinoff to the "Should I say something about their car seat" thread
Article
This has been floating around my FB the last week or so, figured I would share here as well to bring more attention to proper car seat safety.

I saw this too and thought of the recent conversation on here. Something should always be said when a child 's safety is in question. This is such a tragic story.

Yes but even if people get offended ( and trust me I might) who the f cares. So it's uncomfortable for a minute, better than losing a child.

Yes but even if people get offended ( and trust me I might) who the f cares. So it's uncomfortable for a minute, better than losing a child. you know I'd rather someone say something to me! Especially when it's my child who could potentially be in danger. So I can say with confidence that I would not at all be offended. I think someone said something to me about the whole big puffy jacket in car seats being dangerous or I never would have known. I'm glad they did because I never knew that. Some people just don't know.
So my take is always say something especially because it can potentially save a child's life. This is such a sad story.

Re: Spinoff to the "Should I say something about their car seat" thread
I read that article earlier this week. Not only was the child forward facing way too young, but at the time of the accident, her ahole boyfriend only buckled the chest clip, not the crotch clip. I am sure that contributed to the child being ejected from the car. So even if someone had said something to her about the FF too.soon, her stupid lazy @ss boyfriend still wouldn't have properly restrained him. It's not rocket science, but yet some people are clueless on how a car seat works. Plus they think.he was speeding at the time too. That POS should be brought up on murder charges

agree with this 100%!!! The chest clipped snapped, its plastic. He also ran a stop sign!!!!!!!!! And people wonder why I don't let anyone drive with my daughter in the car. How do you only clip the chest clip, have an 11 month old FF THEN you speed and blow a stop sign. I hope he is brought up on charges.
