Q for Working Mamas who use Cleaning Services

Just curious to hear what you all do in between cleans and how frequent your cleans are? I was just informed that my bi-weekly rate was going to increase bec they need more time to do my house. I have been using this service for a few months now. I dont do anything in between cleans! Just a really quick bathroom clean and the floors are swept and counters wiped daily. I dont vacuum, wash floors, dust, or anything else in between. Am I horrible? Ahhh!! Thank you in advance for sharing.

I don't do much besides daily wipe of tables and counters. I have bi-weekly. I clean the toilets if they appear dirty and vacuum if crumbs are on the floor or whatever but other than that I just have them clean. Working and with 2 kids (and other things I want to be doing) I just don't have the time.

Since I have two shedding dogs I quickly vacuum the hardwood downstairs about every other day. I also wipe off the counters and stovetop every time I cook. That's pretty much it. But before they come (bi-weekly) I do take 30-45 minutes to tidy and get as much as I can off the floor, tabletops, countertops, and every cleanable surface so the cleaners can spend their time cleaning instead of moving things.

How much more time can it be taking them to vacuum up a few more crumbs on the floors they are already vacuuming? They are probably just raising rates and its not that your house is dirtier.

This-- and I am a total d-bag bc my cleaning lady comes once every three weeks! though I am upping it to every other week. Before I had kid number 2 I would atleast do the floors and bathroom in between but now I cant be bothered

I have bi-weekly cleanings. On off weeks I do most of it myself.
Dusting
Vacuuming
Toilets
Kitchen

I don't typically bother with the floors, tub, or shower unless we are expecting company.
