What's a good age to start this? Have seen some friends post on FB and their kids are younger than I would've expected.
Also, which one(s)? Thanks.

Polar Express
We brought my 21 month old son to the Polar Express in Saratoga Springs this past weekend. He had a great time. I do not think that there is a right or wrong age to start doing things like that. We went with a friend who has a 4 year old and the two of them both had a blast. My son has been walking around saying All Aboard ever since he got off the train!

we've done the one in Essex, CT since my youngest was 11 months old! They are now 3 and 5 and we are going this weekend. I really think its good for any age. Except the one in riverhead bc they don't allow children under 2

Re: Polar Express
Thanks for the replies. I heard it's two hours long so that seems like it would be hard for the littles to sit through but I guess it really depends on the individual child. Mine would be all over the place!

Oh, ok. I didn't realize there were different lengths of time. My friend mentioned that she's taking her 7 and 5 yr olds and the one they are going to is 2 hours! Good to know. Thanks.

Polar Express
We went with DD who is 6 months to the one in Essex. It was 90 minutes and she absolutely loved it!! Lots of lights and singing so she was very entertained Went with friends and we bought out the entire train car - DD was the youngest at 6 months and the kids ranged up to about 8. There wasn't 1 unhappy kid out of the bunch. They all really enjoyed it and were really entertained for the entire 90 minutes.

This is the one I'm thinking of for DD next year. She'll be 28 mos so I think it will be a good time to start.
How far in advance do you book? I'm sure it gets sold out quickly. Also, did you do the afternoon or evening? I think evening may be better for when they're older, no? Thanks!
