6.5 month old & nursing for comfort?
I have been back to work now for almost 2 months and for the most part DS would wake up once during the night after about 5-6 hours of sleeping to nurse and then went back to sleep for another 3-4 hours.
Last week he started waking every 3 hours to nurse so I was nursing him twice in the night instead of once.
The last 2 nights he's been up every 90 minutes to 2 hours. Last night worried that he's teething I gave him some tylenol and it didn't seem to make a difference I also worried that he was starving and my supply took a dip or something offered him a bottle which he didn't want (he takes bottles no issue - this was the first time he's refused a bottle from me) and twisted himself into a position to nurse which made me think he's not hungry but just looking for comfort.
Is this a normal attachment type thing at this age? He's definitely teething would that be it?

This was around the age that DC started regressing and waking a LOT more at night just to comfort nurse. So yes, I think this may be normal, with or without the teething.

This seems to be the case with my 6 month old also. Nursing more often, but it seems to be for comfort. I know they have a growth spurt at 6 months too.

So normal. I found her schedule was constantly changing. Every time we got I to a routine she tricked me. It's hard when you're in it but it will definitely pass! Dc may just want mama.

DS did this around 5.75-6 months; he'd wake 4+ times a night to nurse. I wound up doing CIO.
