I haven't had a snake scene or crazy bug incident(I can tolerate a lot though, I lived in FL for years)...but what gets me is the raccoons around here. They are really big!
I see little bunnies hopping around all over the place too.
I can totally handle Raccoons and bunnies!! it's everything else that I am having a problem with

Hold on there woman..you don't want racoons...you have no idea how destructive they are. They are mean, nasy chew through eat everything annoying b@stards. I can't tell you how many garbage pails they have chewed right through. And, they are afraid of nothing! As far as I'm concerned they are rodents.

I don't think the bugs here are any worse than in NY. The flies are bad here in August but it is dealable. There are snakes but they are more in the country. I have never seen one but I hear stories from people who live in the country that they have them.

ive been living in NC for 10 months now...and where i am there really arent that many bugs! Funny bc sooo many say that to me! i mean yes i see more grasshoppers and that type...here and there a spider but nothing too bad!

I live in VA & the bugs here are huge!! I am constantly running from something. And the Moths!!!  I am terrified of them. Supposedly there are snakes here but my neighbors haven't seen any. I grew up on a farm & people think it so funny that I am so afraid of bugs but the bugs in Ireland are much diff from the ones here.

They are no worse than NY , IMHO....I have never seen a snake here ....I do see lizards but they are cute
