i have the ergo. I used it for the first time today. she is 8 weeks old. I heard that you should be able to kiss the top of your babies head. But I am to short and kiss her forehead. Does anyone else have this problem? i am almost 5' tall. Should I get a different one?

Do you have a newborn insert? I bet youtube would have videos of how to use receiving blankets for a younger baby. I'm short and loved the ergo but didn't get it until DD was a little older.

I am just 5 foot and I have an ergo and love it. I did have the baby in the insert for a while until she got bigger. I can kiss her head now but I wasnt able to before. I love that thing

I'm 4'11" and use the Ergo all the time. I love it and no problems kissing her head.

Just make sure that the belt that goes around your waist is at your waist and not below your waist, just above your hips. Also, do you have the insert? I think my DD was in the infant insert until about 12-13 weeks. I am short also and my ergos are one of the most used items I own for DD.

Did you use an infant insert or a rolled up receiving blanket? If not, thats why. Your height doesn't effect whether or not you can kiss the babies head, the way you put the carrier on does.
