Graco snugride base question (expiration?)

I have a Graco Snugride base that was used for my granddaughter 4 years ago. The manufacture date is 3/25/10. There is no "expiration date" on the seat. How long is this base good for? I know the carseats have actual "expiration dates" on them. It was only used in my car for 10 mos. and then removed from the car.

There should be a date on the bottom of the seat. If not, I would call Graco and see if they can help you.
