Prince Harry spots sad little girl, puts her on his shoulders.
Prince Harry gave a sad little girl a big lift over the weekend.
The redheaded royal was attending the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games on Sunday night when he noticed Isabelle Nixon, 5, who was upset that she couldn’t see the stage.
He came to the rescue, swooping the her onto his shoulders so that she could see the stage. Later, as the Foo Fighters played, Prince Harry continued to dance with Isabelle.
The little girl reportedly had no idea who her partner was until her mother, Taryn, said, “You’re dancing with Prince Harry!” the Daily Mail reported.
“I was completely over the moon,” Isabelle said.
The Invictus Games is an international paralympic competition for wounded soldiers that is held in London. Isabelle’s father, David, is the captain of Team GB’s wheelchair basketball team. Prince Harry serves on the event’s organizing committee.
Taryn posted a photo of Isabelle perched on Prince Harry’s shoulders on Twitter, writing, “Thank you!! What an amazing end to an amazing week. #invictusgames”.
Another Twitter user who appeared to be a friend of the Nixons also tweeted a photo, saying, “Not everyday (sic) that Prince Harry dances behind you with your friends kid on his shoulders!”
Kensington Palace later released a statement, saying that “Prince Harry was keen to enjoy the closing concert and celebrate the Games with the competitors. … The little girl’s father was the captain of the wheelchair basketball team, who Prince Harry met on several occasions throughout the course of the Games.”
Love the little smirk on her face!

I haven fallen a little more in love with him!
I've been seeing pics from his Inviticus Games week long event he created. It looks like such a blast,
It's evident he inherited his mothers big heart.

He is AWESOME and I know we all love to place all the credit on Diana but lets remember that he was young when his mom passed away so his dad must have been a huge part of molding him into the man he is today so well done Prince Charles too. He has raised two amazing young men.

I love how in this pic he is on his knees and literally down on the same level as this person. Instead of standing above him. I don't know something about it is so sweet. I think he would be a good husband and dad. He should marry me.

This he was not even a teenager when she passed. Yes this is part of her raising him, but also his father. I think Prince Charles has done a great job and it shows. His boys are healthy, happy, and thriving. If he would have been a shit dad they would have crumbled after her death and the didn't. Kuddos all around!
