Re: mamaroo
every baby is different...i personally did not have it for either child. My friend recently sold hers at a garage sale bc her LO hated it. i would hesitate to spend the money just in case your LO doesnt like it. what swing do you have? I have a fisher price one and it allows it to swing or go in cradle side-to-side mode....ds disliked swing mode but when i switched to cradle mode he now loves it and takes 2+ hour naps in it

My first 4 babies weren't huge swing fans so we went with the mamaroo for our 5th baby. He loves it! He has a favorite setting(car ride), speed and sound. I found it to be worth the money. One of my friends has two for her twins. She says each twin has different settings they prefer. There are so many options.

My kid could have cared less about the mamaroo. It worked great the first week and passed that, he hardly went in it.

Same for DD. I used to sit her in there when she was little, but she never loved it. Also, I noticed that mine doesn't move smoothly, it has a little jitter to it...don't really like that about it.

My ds only started liking the swing around 6 weeks and it had/has to be on the fastest setting.

LOvED it and we used it past the weight limit - they just came out with another one and we would purchase that if we were to have #2. i personally think the brand is great and has good customer service.

My DD loves it. For my son we had a Fisher Price swing that vibrated and swung, it was a space saver and he loved that, plan to use that too, mamaroo is my nephews and we borrowed it from him and I think it is great for newborns but I don't see her in for long where as w my FP swing DS was in that for months!
