breast feeding and your supply...
I know everyone says your body adjusts to how much milk your LO needs...but is this really true if i drop to only one BF session a day?
currently i BF ds 2-3 times a day (once in the morning before work, once when i get home and once before bed...sometimes if i hit too much traffic i miss the after work nursing session and he gets another bottle instead). when i am at work i pump once to help maintain my supply (i give DS formula during the day so i am freezing what i pump and have no idea what im going to do with it).
my 2 questions are: -can i stop pumping at work and still have enough for him those 3 times a day?
-when he starts sleeping later and i dont get to nurse him before i leave for work, can i just go to breast feeding him at night and still maintain enough for him or will i still need to pump?

My DD is 13 mos old and only BF 2x/day (sometimes more on the wkends). I stopped pumping at work when she turned 1. I assume she's getting what she needs/wants because she doesn't complain and still has plenty of wet diapers. So in my case, I've been able to maintain without pumping.

My supply drastically diminished when I sent to nursing 2x/day and stopped pumping at work. At that point he would suck and suck for comfort but wasn't really getting much and it was around then I started weaning pretty quickly to once a day then done. DS was 13-14 months or so
