Anyone stay at Cove Haven?
DH and I are thinking about it. I know it is cheesy...but we could use an adult only place type vacation.

Re: Anyone stay at Cove Haven?
We've been twice. It's cheesy but DH and I always had a good time when we were there.

Anyone stay at Cove Haven?
We went 8 years ago and were upgraded to the deluxe with champagne tub and heart shaped pool. We also had a round bed with a mirrored ceiling. It was hysterical.

It is cheesy but it's fine if you know that going in. In the AM, It's pitch black in the room and it's kinda romantic being stuck inside there not knowing what time of day it is.... I didn't knOw how a bubble hot tub worked so I kept putting soap in... Oh boy! I turned the jets on, and the bubbles crawled out like the blob all over the room. DH and I were in hysterics cleaning it up.

So funny because I did the SAME thing. I kept pouring bubble soap in and nothing was happening..........until I turned the jets on. Needless to say, like you, massive amounts of bubbles were pouring out of the champagne glass into the downstairs living room. Suds were everywhere. It was hysterical. Lesson learned.

LOL same here! Must be a rite of passage!
To Op, if you know it's going to be corny, then you'll be fine. It was cheesy but still romantic and funny and it was a great time!

We went 2 years ago and it was not worth the money at all. Very run down, the bed was so uncomfortable, and the rooms were gross. I wasn't a fan. Definitely wouldn't go back. On the plus side, the food was pretty good!

Re: Anyone stay at Cove Haven?
I saw the groupon also and was thinking about it. I read the reviews (maybe on tripadvisor-i forget) and decided against it. Most people said how run down it was and not worth it.
ETA: reviews did say that there were a lot of fun activities to do though and close to the mountain(?)
