who's going to Disney this summer!
We are going in mid August! Just checking in to see if anyone has their trip coming up!!

We are! We're at Disney from August 16th-23rd and then on to Clearwater Beach for 4 days afterwards for the relaxing part of our vacation!

We did...we're eating breakfast at Crystal Palace, lunch at CRT and San Angeles, and dinner at Sci-Fi drive in and Coral Reef...we're staying off premises at Orange Lake so we're not doing the dining plan so we only planned out our must-do meals. Many of our favorites are quick service meals!

We just stayed here for 3 nights, since we extended our trip last minute, and yacht club had no rooms for the 4th. Are you staying in a room or suite? The walk from the Little Mermaid rooms to the main building and pool is a HIKE in case you didn't know! Stunk when my magic band didn't work on my door and had to go all the way back!! The resort is adorable though, and the Cozy Cone cabanas were a hit with my kids. We could see fireworks at Hollywood Studios from our room window, which was nice (Triton Building 9 facing Lion King section and parking lot if you want to make a request and are staying in LM).

Yup, it's the Frozen fireworks that are going on until September!

If you have kids the right age (4-12), check out the Albatross Cruise that leaves from the Yacht Club. It's pirate themed, and a huge highlight for my daughter. It's 2 hours, they sail out on a pontoon boat, went to Epcot to look for treasure and got to get off in Canada and look around (wasn't open to the public yet). She really loved it! There is another one that leaves from the Grand Floridian that my son loved when he was younger. You can reserve these even if you are not staying on site.
