i hate the wait between tests - I have my next scan in a little less than 4 weeks and it's been a little over 5 weeks since my 12 week u/s. I'm going crazy with anticipation of knowing what we're having!!!!

Once you start to feel the baby move, you won't worry so much between OB appts.

Feeling movement definitely helps. Before that I go in to every appointment braced for the worst. Then I'm happy for a day before the doubts start to creep back in.
As far as the tests, part of me just wished they would do the fancy blood tests for everyone and get rid of things like the NT scan that cause so many people to have worries over nothing. I'm sure cost is probably the main reason that won't happen.

this!
it came back that i'm a carrier of CF and now my husband has to get tested and that isn't happening until tuesday b/c of the holiday and then we have to wait another week for results. i wish he could have just taken the test when i initially did!

The NT scan is totally optional. I haven't done it for any of my pregnancies.
