And have you seen Dr Welischar?

I love all of the Dr's at this practice. I've seen Dr. Welcher but Dr. Lockner deliver both my kids. Love her.

Anyone go to stonybrook ob/gyn
I've seen Welischar before, shes great. My next two appointments are with her and Dr. Lockner. My last two appointments were will Dr. Porte, hes nice too. I only met OKeefe & Funt quickly.

Anyone go to stonybrook ob/gyn
I don't go there but my OB has them do their NT Scans. Just an fyi with the bohemia office, you have to go to stonybrook for the bloodwork part of the NT Scan so you may want to just schedule the scan there. I didn't realize and went to bohemia for the sono and then had to drive all the way to stonybrook right after which was annoying. They were great though!

I do. From what I heard all the doctors are great. Haven't seen all of them yet since I'm fairly new to this practice. But Dr. Welischar is my doctor and she's great!!!

I go there and Dr.Porte is my main doctor but had my last visit with her, since you have to see all the doctors at least once during your pregnancy, and I have to say I REALLY liked her. She was extremely nice and took the time to answer my questions without rushing out the door. I said to my husband that if she is on call when I do deliver I would not be upset. Best of luck to you!

Uggh, yes! It was awesome that I was in and out of bohemia in 15 minutes but I had to go to the SB lab across from their other office for the blood.

Thats weird! They pricked my finger and dropped the blood on a form and sealed it up. Maybe on certain days they can't draw blood? idk lol. I know they said they don't do untrasounds on Fridays, so maybe something weird like that.
But I'm jealous you were only there for 15 minutes. My appointment was at 3:45, I didn't leave until 5:15...

They only recently started doing it in the Bohemia office. They previously did not do it In that office.

It wasn't a finger prick so maybe that's the difference. They did a full vial. It seems like different doctors order different things with the test but mine has been a regular draw both times with the NT Scan.

It was only 2-3 weeks ago.

She has been my dr for years!! Love her she never delivered either of my child!! LOL I know see Dr O'Keefe there who did deliver my second! Love him to pieces he is wonderful!!!

They have been my doctors for two of my kids now. Dr. Porte delivered my first but actually had a doctor from other practice deliver my second. (Dr. Davenport) who was wonderful.
I usually see Dr. Porte or Dr. OKeefe which I like both. I Made a lot of my OB Appts with OKeefe. Especially the ones that they are just checking baby heart and your in and out. I have never waited long with him. Actually I have maybe only waited long a few times. Nothing compared to the old office I went to. I like Dr. Welischar and Locner too I just haven't seen them as much.

I just met her the other day of the first time. She's probably my favorite there. I think she's a good mix of being conservative and calm if any issues come up. She's not going to overlook things, but she's going to address them and give you the info you need. I also thought she was direct and straight forward without being cold.
