When did you start wearing maternity clothes?

I'm currently 13 weeks and trying to decide whether or not I should invest in any maternity shorts or capris. I'm fine in anything with a stretchy waist and I either need to get more stuff like that or some maternity stuff, just not sure if the maternity stuff would be overboard. Am I kidding myself in thinking I could possibly make it through the summer without?

I bought maternity clothes around 12 weeks and was mainly just wearing them from then on. I started showing early too, so that was part of it and frankly, they were just so much more comfortable than trying to do the belly band, or attempting to fit in the same clothes.

I had to go shopping at 12 weeks, nothing would fit.

I'm hoping to make it thru the summer in maxi dresses or something :)

I bought stuff around 14w and before that bought 3 regular loose style dresses that I ended up wearing all the way to 30w. I used also belly band with my regular pants/jeans from around 14w. I was still wearing a lot of my regular clothing until 18w or so and I was already showing quite a bump around that time. I went maternity wear only around 25w? I think

I didn't really wear anything 'maternity' until like 20-24 weeks I think.

I can't find my belly band but I remember hating it anyway. Just ordered two pairs of shorts from zulily so we'll see how things are going by the time they actually get here. As much as I try to like maxi skirts and dresses I'm just not into them for every day. Definitely not for chasing a toddler around the playground at least!

I am 20 weeks and still not in maternity clothes.

This is my 2nd pregnancy. I'm only 14 weeks, almost 15, but I've looked obviously pregnant for about 2 weeks now. My stomach never really went away from my 1st though. I say wear what makes you comfortable- I broke out the maternity clothes early this time around!

I bought around 14 weeks and started wearing at 15 I believe. So much more comfortable.

I bought maternity jeans at 11 weeks because I was so bloated and sick of the belly band

I started with pants around 18/19 weeks..but I never used the band.

Shirts I'm 35+3 and still wear a lot of my regular shirts-I only have 3 or 4 maternity shirts.

Stretchy dresses I still wear my regular ones, and I also got 3 or 4 maternity ones

I would say 14 weeks is when I switched to maternity jeans. My regular jeans were just so uncomfortable by then.

I was around 14 weeks last pregnancy. I'm 10 weeks this time around and still in regular clothes. I'm hoping I make it through summer in maxi dresses or something. I only have winter maternity and I refuse to spend money on summer maternity if I'm only wearing it a few months.

I had to get pants at 9-10 weeks. My work pants and skinny jeans were not doing the job at all and I started showing VERY early. The belly bands were so uncomfortable. I also had to buy a maternity coat around 10 weeks because I didn't have a winter coat from the year before and none of the regular coats made room for my growing bump!

I bought maternity clothes around 18 weeks. I was officially wearing them all the time around 24 weeks.
