I'm not surprised that it passed but I am surprised that it did with such a large margin.

Im on childcare and didnt get a ballot
Also hears if didnt vote it was automatic yes
Plus i think it was fixed
Where can i find the details of contract

Check the UFT website.
We knew it was passing, but ITA with the posted that thinks it was fixed. Maybe it's the conspiracy theorist in me, but I don't see how it could pass with such a wide margin.

How come ballots were not mailed home so we could send them in ourselves? It was done at school and "dropped" off somewhere....very fishy! No way 77% said yes....

No wAy when almost 100% of my building said no! And all I heard from others was voted no

I think a lot of people talked about voting no and then chickened out. The fear of paying into health care got to a lot of people from what I hear...

I think the same thing. If healthcare truly was going to be an issue, then people were going to vote no. Since it said no changes to healthcare, I think a lot of people voted yes.
