Clearwater/ St Petersburg, FL, hotel rec.?
Planning to go either April or May 2015 with my husband and 4 year old daughters. Any hotel recommendations in the area ?

We just went and stayed at the Sandpearl resort in Clearwater beach. It was beautiful. It has daily activities for adults and kids. It is expensive but found a decent rate online.

Sandpearl looks GREAT!!! We however were on a budget, and stayed at the Quality Suites further down the strip on the water. We actually really liked it. Clean, had a balcony, nice pool, across from mini golf and connected to an Ihop, which my kids LOVED lol. I think we paid like $159 a night.

I'm staying at the Alden Suites Resort in St. Pete Beach & Clarion Inn & Suites in in August.
I really wanted to stay in the Tradewinds Resort but it was crazy expensive when I wanted to go.
