I was just lurking over there and I have to say, I have never seen more abusive posts in my life! I mean, these are all women who are in the same boat (TTC, 2WW. discussing losses, etc.) and they are terrible to one another.

The knot I've heard is the worst. Ppl telling others to kill themselves and their babies. Just awful. I have an account but I don't post.

I post on babycenter sometimes but mostly read. A lot of good info, but ppl are so nasty to each other. I don't get why

I have the bump app on my phone, haven't really looked at it much. But the posts on What to expect... app are so mean. The women are so rude to eachother...I was hoping for it to be a place to post and talk since we haven't announced yet, but if you word something the wrong way they jump on you....The baby name board was the worst...people saying peoples name ideas are stupid and going on and on about it. A simple "not a fan" will do, you don't need to write three paragraphs on how you hate the name.

I found that no other website is as diplomatic and supportive as this one is. I've made some great friends over the last year, since I found it after my mc, we are all incredibly supportive of each other. When I came out on here with my pregnancy a few weeks ago, I was astonished and beyond touched by the outpouring of support and congratulations. I've loved living on this site.

i was there before coming here and conceiving my first.. the girls ripped me apart.. and even after i continued to say your misunderstanding and subsequently leaving- they continued to talk about me.. funny thing is.. i was pregnant, lost and became pregnant with my son the following month. They are a very clicky, rude bunch.. LIfamilies have been so open and warm and inviting. No question is stupid, and noone is made to feel bad about anything.. couldnt ask for more in such a vulnerable time..

i spent a lot of time on the bump on the TTCAL board, did not get a long well with a lot of them, but i actually made a few really amazing friendships from that board also.
