terrible twos, terrible eaters?
I am so frustrated and needed to vent. My boys, Nicholas in particular eat the same 2 things! Im shocked he gains weight all! They turn their heads to anything new and wants the same things all the time... fruit, but NO veggies, milk but no juice, perdu niggets but no grilled chicken!!! My healthy well rounded babies have turned into the most picky of toddlers. Do I give them what they want? Do I only give them what I offer? Please tell me this sounds normal =(

omg my daugther just turned two and it's not that she is picky, but she is not eating as much as she used to.
I hope that's normal too.

Re: terrible twos, terrible eaters?
DD is 21 months and is the same way. I can count on my hands the foods she will eat. As for fruits and veggies, corn and watermelon are the only ones acceptable right now. At this point I just feed her what she wants and try to sneak a small amount of something new on the plate too.

Re: terrible twos, terrible eaters?
My son is 2 weeks shy of 18 months and he os goign through some strange eating habits changes. all of a sudden he refuses to each chicken. He used to LOVe it! Now he will not touch it. He does however, have a new favourite new food--cheese! That's all he wants to eat...
Oh, and he will not eat any veggies unless I puree them together.

Re: terrible twos, terrible eaters?
I noticed the decrease in appetite with them about a month ago too. They used to eat double what they do now in a given day. I thought maybe they were filling in on milk, but when I gave them less, still no eating. If we are all experiencing this, I guess it is normal? Thanks for the support =)

Re: terrible twos, terrible eaters?
Same here. My DD ava, just turned 2. She eats grapes, cheese, yogurt, bananas, raviolli, mac and cheese, dora soup, pizza and of course ice cream! Not 1 veg!!! i really do try. I am not going to stress. I don't want to make food or eating an issue. As long as I can offer fruits over cookies, I feel like we are doing o.k. I am sure she will out grow this.

Re: terrible twos, terrible eaters?
Same here. Jack will be 2 Oct 19 and I also started noticing he is not eating as much. He eats all those toddler staples and fruit but not too many veggies. One thing I tried recently was the frozen broccoli, rice and cheese side dish from green giant and he loved it! So he will eat broccoli that way.
