15 month old sleep patterns
Moms of 15 months old, do you notice any changes in your child's sleep patterns. Last night DD woke up hysterical. She kept getting up what seemed like every 20 minutes. Tonight it looks like the same thing is happening. She has always been a great sleeper. I know she's not too hot because she is in her spring pjs. Do you think it could be teething? Growth spurt? Suggestions?

Re: 15 month old sleep patterns
DD is 15m and she is really in a very solid pattern now (630-7am) but she is off from time to time for 1-3 days at a time. Things like teething, a cold, a middle of the night poop throw things outta whack.
Does she have all of her 12m molars?

I could have written this. DD has been an incredible sleeper since realaly early on. The last couple of weeks have been torture. She whines, whimpers, cries, and wakes randomly throughout the night. If you find something that works, please share! Thus far, the only thing that seems to help is if I turn her music box on.

DS does this when he is teething. He just wakes up screaming throughout the night. Molars suck

I wouldn't really say that 2 nights of bad sleep is a change in sleep patterns. DS has bad night here and there. The only time he has a few bad night in a row is if he's sick or getting teeth. His top molars were particularly brutal on him.

15 month old sleep patterns
My Ds has always had short periods of time when he is off. It happens.
Think of it this way.....as adults we have off days and stuff so it is probably the same.

Re: 15 month old sleep patterns
DD had been sttn since 3 mos., and became a horror at 14 mos.! I think part of it was separation anxiety. We started giving her some water from a straw cup when she got up, and that seemed to help, though it could have been coincidental that she grew out of all the wakings and resistance to falling asleep. All in all it lasted from February until about 2 weeks ago (knock on wood)! Not fun.
