High Chair vs Hook on Seat
Debating which we should put on the registry....a standing high chair or the space saver that hooks right on to a regular chair.
What do you have? Maybe we should register for both?

Re: High Chair vs Hook on Seat
We registered for both.
The high chair for the house and the hook on seat for when we go places, visit family, go on trips, etc.

Re: High Chair vs Hook on Seat
we got the fisher price space saver with DD and love it. we picked it because at the time, we were living in a small apartment so space was an issue.
we just moved into a house and instead of buying another space saver for baby #2 we are getting a full high chair. our dining room is now big enough for the high chair, plus we have company over a lot, and our dining room set only has 6 chairs so we have to pull out folding chairs.
IMO, if you have the space, go wtih the high chair
eta we also have the fisher price healthy care booster for when we go out with DD (its stays in my trunk)...and there have been times we use it in the house if we have other LOs come over.

High Chair vs Hook on Seat
We have a full high chair for our house and the fisher price healthy care deluxe booster that we leave in the car and use at friends houses and restaurants.
The ones that's clamp into the table aren't good IMO, and we even returned our expensive one. It cannot clamp onto tables that use a table leaf or a table cloth. Also as the baby gets bigger their weight brings the seat down and they are at an incline. Plus it's a lot easier to just strap the booster seat onto a chair.

Re: High Chair vs Hook on Seat
Some you can use both ways. I have a Graco that is free standing & the legs come off & it can be strapped to a chair.
I liked having DS in it free standing the first 2 years because it was easier to just roll him around and it left us an extra chair at the table. At 2, I attached it to a chair so he could sit right at the table with us without the tray.
