Second times moms: What do we need?
I'm trying to figure this out too--
- Pacifiers/Teethers
- Crib sheets/Mattress Pads (if your 1st will still be in a crib/toddler sized bed)
- Extra video monitor camera
I'm also getting some new swaddles and new washcloths b/c mine are beaten to crap!

Here is what i would say plus:
-nipples for bottles
-wipes
-new washclothes
-diaper creams (if your oldest doesn't use them anymore)
-pacifier clips
-dr browns nipple cleaning brush
-new burping clothes if needed
-drop ins (if used)

Nipples (no reason to buy new bottles because DD and new baby are so close in age)
Pacifiers (not sure we're going to give new baby a pacifier)
Diaper pail
Crib, changer, chest
Mattress
Changing pad
Double stroller
2nd video camera for monitor
Gas drops and gripe water

New changing table
changing pad and covers
diapers
new rock and play
maybe a double stroller
car seat
paci's
nipples for bottles
bottle warmer- ours broke from my DS
2nd video camera
clothes
diapers
-
and theres probably more I'm missing..lol

I got
- new bottles
- new pacifiers
- new bibs
- new burp cloths
- borrowed a double stroller
- will be buying a new car seat for DS and using his Britax for DD. She is using DS's old infant car seat right now.
That's really all I got. I have used everything else that was DS's. It's all still in great condition, and I could care less if things are 'boyish' looking...she has no clue.

DD will be 3 years older than DS and this is what i got new
New mattress (crib is still good and DD is in a big girl bed)
New changing table pad (changing table is still good)
new changing pad covers
new sheets
DS got his own hamper
some new bottles
new pacifiers
new comb and brush
new towels
new clothes (i hadn't bought much gender netural the first time around)
My best friend gave me her old Rock N Play, Pack N Play and Infant Car Seat (her son is 2 years old) so I didn't need those things.
Our baby bath and swing and play mat and jumperoos are all in good condition to be used again
I just bought the boogie board for the Uppa Baby Stroller so we did not get a double stroller

Second times moms: What do we need?
I have heard new parts (tubes/ membranes, etc) for the pumps- onesies, bibs, bottles/ nipples, swaddles, crib sheets- basically anything that DC1 got dirty/stained lol

We got a double stroller, a video monitor with an extra camera, some new washcloths, some new bibs and new bottles (DS 1 was slow to get off the bottle and was still using his so I tried another brand).

Second times moms: What do we need?
I'm not getting anything. Just my youngest son a new carseat and we'll use the infant carrier for the baby. I never used a double stroller (too big for my taste) but I'm debating getting a cheap double umbrella stroller since my little guy will only be 16 months (same age difference between my first 2 but I never used a double so I'm not sure)

You didn't have a double for a 16 mo age gap? How did you handle that for walks/trips to mall/etc?
Mine will be 3.5 years apart and I'm contemplating a double but you're making me rethink it if you survived!
