when do you put the car seat in the car?
I am due in 8 days and we just put it in yesterday. I would have liked to have done it sooner, but the police dept took forever to get back to us about the install.

We did it 2 weeks before she was born which was 3 weeks before my due date.

If you have it already, I'd put it in the car. No point in scrambling once you have the baby. I went 10 days early and was glad it was already properly installed beforehand.

we installed the car seat and had the hospital bag in the car at 37 weeks
you just never know

I did it around 35 weeks so I had time to get it inspected etc. Right now I just have the base in and DH will put in the seat when we are ready to come home from hospital.
