What are some things your toddlers eat for lunch?
I'm a FTSAHM of 3 toddlers. They usually have left overs from the previous nights dinner, chicken nuggets with french fries and a veggie, mac and cheese, cheese and crackers, jelly sandwhiches. If they eat all their lunch they get a fruit cup, yogurt or apple sauce afterwards. Lately we are in a bit of a rut. They are not eating their lunches. We have not tried peanut butter or fish sticks with them yet so any other suggestions besides peanut butter and jelly or fish sticks? TIA!!.

What are some things your toddles eat for lunch?
Tuna fish, grilled chicken, meatballs, cheese, grilled cheese, quesadilla, scrambled egg... We try to mix it up
She always gets fruit with lunch
( dd is almost 17 months)

DD will normally have a greek yogurt and sometimes she asks for a PB&J sandwich, but in shapes (we use cookie cutters to shape them - like a dog and a bone; xmas tree, etc). She also likes wraps - so sometimes we'll take a full wrap, place deli meat & cheese on it with a dressing and/or vegetables, cut it in half and she will eat that after the yogurt. She sometimes will have grilled cheese and soup as well.
What about Panini's? You can make them veggie or meat based.

turkey and cheese sandwiches
cheese and crackers
grilled cheese
egg and cheese on toast
veggies and ranch dressing
yogurt and fruit
tuna sandwich
I have one dc who will eat all of the above and one who will eat maybe 2 of the things listed. It's always a struggle to find something both kids will eat so I'm not making a variety of foods at each meal.

I keep it simple. DD requests pbj every day but she will eat grilled cheese (open face in toaster oven), cheese quesadilla, rolled up ham with crackers. I'm not into cooking for lunch so that's really it. She has fruit and sometimes yogurt with lunch.

We cycle through a lot of the same things- yogurt, grilled cheese, Nutella sandwich, eggs, chicken nuggets, turkey pepperoni, low sodium turkey, cheese sticks and crackers, rice cake with any of the above, occasional burger or pizza, bagel

DS is extremely picky and basically eats the same 5 things for lunch/dinner.
Cheese sticks & crackers
Oatmeal with pureed fruit mixed in
Chicken nuggets
Mac & cheese
Yogurt
Pizza
He is 3.5 and still REFUSES to try pb&j sandwiches or pretty much any type of sandwich (grilled cheese, etc.). DH and I always say the day he discovers he likes them will be the best day of our lives.

I'm no help, DS will only eat PB&J, nutella, or grilled cheese sandwiches usually for lunch. The only time he will eat stuff other than that is when he goes to my aunt's house (italian lady who is a great cook!) haha.

These are the things I give my daughter:
Eggs scrambled with rice mixed in
Liverwurst cut up
Ham
Waxbeans
Strawberry and avacado
Pasta
Vienna sausage (neighbors gave it to her and she loves them)
Waffles

Leftovers (chicken, steak, turnkey breast etc.)
chicken nuggets
turkey hotdogs
pizza
She doesn't really do sandwiches yet, which is annoying. She has no interest. If I give her a cheese sandwich, she just eats the cheese, even though she likes to eat bread by itself too. She is very inconsistent with grilled cheese.
She eats a fruit and/or a veggie with all of her meals.

What are some things your toddlers eat for lunch?
Lunch is the smallest meal of the day at my house. They usually have a sandwich or wrap (turkey & cheese or ham & cheese), soup, yogurt with a side of fresh fruit & some cheese & crackers, mac & cheese mixed with peas, broccoli, or carrots, chicken nuggets w/ a veggie, pasta w/ butter & parm cheese, pizza, or even cereal with some fruit & yogurt on the side. My boys eat huge breakfasts & dinners, so they are never super hungry at lunch time.
