Ugh! I feel terrible, but of course the kids were not good either. I had a mommy dearest moment! My 4 yr old DS asked if he can play Hi Ho Cherry O. It hasn't been opened yet from Hanukkah. I know it's been a while, but the boys have tons of games and they hardly play so it was piled with their games in the toy cabinet. Now, I work from home so that can be stressful enough. The boys were good in the other room so when I went in I see just about every game out all mixed up, pieces everywhere, etc. I give them a warning, another warning, I give them time all to clean up or start cleaning up. It just gets worse so I start yelling and they just laugh and made it worse. Before I knew it my head was spinning and I'm yelling. I calmed a bit then put my 2 yr old in for a nap and helped my 4 yr old get the rest (meaning I did it all). I told him that he can't play with games if this is what's going to happen. Had to take out the vacuum so I'm sure some pieces got sucked up.
Fun! Had a calm talk with both boys separate saying how important it is to treat your toys nice, etc.
Ugh!
