My friend lives here and is nice to me. They are having an open house on Sunday... Awesome house imo

Not sure if you've come across this article. I don't think you can go wrong with any area of Commack. There really are no "bad" areas

Did you join Commack moms on FB? That might give you a bit more information. I just read this morning that the Tulipwood section is having a lot of break-ins lately. It's happening all over so that's not a reason to not buy there but you can read more about it on FB.
