Zithromax while pregnant ?
Has anyone been on Zithromax antibiotic while pregnant?
I just got back from my primary and I am border line bronchitis. :(
He checked with my OB to make sure It is ok and they said yes.
I'm obviously just scared but i don't want to end up in the hospital.

I took it. I had bronchitis and could not breathe. I checked with my primary care doc, my OB and a pulmonologist... They all said it was fine. Breathing trumps not breathing.
I am also on Pulmicort, albuterol and prednisone due to pregnancy induced asthma. I would rather not be on any meds, but for two days I was wheezing and winded all the time... it was no good for the babies.
I feel much better now, and the babies are doing well.

Zithromax while pregnant ?
I took it with my first when I had bad bronchitis...like pp said, you need to breathe and let me tell you, it was not an easy road having full blown bronchitis and being pregnant

Zithromax while pregnant ?
I took it during my pregnancy bc I too had bronchitis. It was ok'd by my OB. I was so scared but the more I thought about it -the more I realized that it was actually worse if I wasn't giving proper oxygen to my baby. Living with an infection that won't go away isn't good for baby either. Believe me I went back and forth with the decision, but after I felt so much better and knew that being a better me was better for my baby. Feel better soon!

Zithromax while pregnant ?
Yes I was on it for the same reason. Like a PP said breathing is better then not breathing. I have asthma and was worse when I was pregnant. Xopenex is a category C but like my sister says "it might be Category C but oxygen is Category A so you want to get to that level".
