Easter gifts
Just curious - do you buy your nieces and nephews gifts for Easter?
I never know how much to spend on holidays like this - Christmas, we set limits, but this is different.
Is like $25-$30 ok for a niece or nephew? Am I being cheap? Money is tight this year and I'm honestly not doing much more than that for DS.
Thanks!!!

Re: Easter gifts
In my family, that'd be considered extremely generous. For Easter, we do more token gifts. A book, bubbles, playdoh, funny bunny ears, that type of thing.

Easter gifts
DD usually just gets something small like a book and stuffed animal. I think $25+ sounds like a lot to spend.

I do. I have 2 nephews and 1 niece and I probably spend about $20-25 on each kid. You're not being cheap at all!!!! And honestly, if you spent $5 it's still the thought that counts.

Re: Easter gifts
We do Easter baskets for our niece and nephew. We probably spend around $25 on each. A few pieces of chocolate, some jelly beans and usually an iTunes gift card for each of them (they are 13 and 7 now).

My family is the same. We give gifts for everything! For Easter, I put together a basket or bag with a couple things, shirt, small toy, candy. For my cousins- cousins (older), I buy just a little something usually candy.

Easter gifts
I do buy for my nieces but it's nothing expensive. I.e coloring books and chocolates or stuffed Easter bunny. This year I got some sunglasses at children's place I'm am going to throw in with a Peter Rabbit coloring book I found at target. Check out the Dollar spot, good stuff ;)
Some years I'll buy their outfits but my sister does the same for my DS some years.

Re: Easter gifts
We usually just give a chocolate bunny or a little pail of Easter candy. Just a token thing.

Same here. But we don't do gifts for Easter in my family- just candy & small things like books, bubbles, crayons, small stuffed animals, etc.
