Easter gifts to the 529?
did you give Easter gifts to the other kids in your life.
dh just asked me if we were putting any money into the 529's we have open for our nieces and godsons.
I told him $10 each.  but I mean, we just had them up at the house and they all got an easter outfit and a basket.
I think that's fine but I am being too cheap?

I think that is more than generous especially considering you also gave them each a basket. All that stuff adds up! Plus if you put money into the accounts for every holiday, birthday, etc that is adding up as well. Those kids are lucky to have such a caring aunt/uncle/Godparent!!

It's not necessary.
We gave small gifts to out godchildren & cousins.
Easter is not about gifts, IMO.

this is not me. this is my husband.
I am way to flighty to even think of this stuff. he is the impressive one. I am the lucky one. 
ETA: I know Easter is not about gifts. it's about bunnies and baskets and chocolate! duh!
