Which dress for a wedding?

They are all really nice
I personally don't like the material of #5
I would also avoid a one shoulder dress....my experience with my last pregnancy my boobs were big and uncomfortable, I needed to wear a bra but couldn't wear my usual bras so finding a strapless is not easy.
Other than that I may opt for a long dress bc my feet/ankles were swollen I would prefer to have as much covered as possible and not try to wear fancy shoes that may hurt my feet
So all that being said id prob go with #1

#2

I felt like flowy things made me look frumpy and fat when I was pregnant with DD. I think more fitted dresses, that accentuate the bump, are just more flattering.

ETA: I feel like #1 would just make a pregnant woman look enormous.

Just a regular Long Island wedding, not black tie or anything. It's at Carlyle on the Green.

Good call with the material for #5- I didn't even think of that!

I doubt I would even need a bra...my little AAs barely grew to a B this pregnancy! (Just watched, I jinxed myself and now they will be enormous)

Which dress for a wedding?

#6 would be the most flattering IMO at 39 weeks preggo I wouldn't want some super fitted like first couple I like that the last one has a flare to the skirt and it is fancy enough!

I hate 1. I feel like it does nothing for a pg body.

Which dress for a wedding?

I like 2 the best. I tend to favor things that hug my bump and are fitted.

The first couple are from ASOS (free shipping both ways!) and the last two are from amazon.
Pea in a pod had some nice dresses, but nothing I was crazy about.

Re: Which dress for a wedding?

Thanks for the feedback! I ordered the first three (the long navy ones) from ASOS today. So I'll see how they look on me. If none of those 3 work, I'm going to get the 6th one.

This!! It's so funny how the comments I get differ when I wear something flowing versus fitted. When I wear fitted I am told all day long how small I'm carrying and when I put on something flowing I get the 'wow you're really showing now' comments lol. Those flowing shirts/dresses just exaggerate the situation!

Which dress for a wedding?

Just something to think about---

I was in a wedding at 40 wks preg, with a long flowy gown. I kept tripping over it! With my giant belly, I couldn't see when I got up from my seat and kept getting my shoes stuck in the dress. Doh!

I love the second dress! Chat Icon
