How would you feel-babysitter related

If your sitter (for a few months) asked to bring her 15 year old daughter with her after she had wrist surgery (daughter)

Depends on for how long.

If it's a few days to a week (while daughter was recovering), I think it's reasonable.

Better than the sitter asking for the time off & you scrambling to find someone else (IMO).

A 15 year old kid will not want to hang out with her mom & your kids for long.

Temporarily I would think it's ok. It's just another set of hands for her to help out. The mom will still be there supervising and ultimately still the babysitter.

Better that than having to find a new babysitter during this time of her recovery.

I wouldn't mind at all. If anything, I think her daughter will provide another set of eyes, which you can never have enough of when it comes to kids.

Like pp said, I would prefer it to her not being able to come in to work!! Hopefully she will recover quickly. At 15 I wouldnt want to be in someone elses house while my mother babysat any longer than I had to.

Re: How would you feel-babysitter related

I don't think it would bother me. Granted, all 15 year olds are different, but at 15, I was babysitting for a 5 month old. Better that than your sitter not being able to work in order to stay home with her daughter.

Thanks that's what I was thinking. My first instinct I wasn't sure but then thought 15 is old enough to be a mothers helper.

That wouldn't bother me. At 15, I have several regular babysitting gigs.

Would not care at all. Mine brings her 10 year old daughter over all the time when she is off school - not because she needs child care for her, but because her daughter loves coming over to play with my kids.
