38 wks and the flu? Or labor
I came home from work feeling not right today again. Now I am up with cold chills and probably threw up all of my dinner. I feel horrible and have some back pain and some stomach pain. Of course dh is snoring next to me. I'm not sure if this is a bug or if something else is going on. The I still feel nauseated and that I have to go to the bathroom.
Stupid question but when should I call the office? Do you think this is labor related? Last Thursday I had nothing happening down there.
Wwyd? Hope someone is up

It sounds like it could be a bug/flu. If you start having consistent contractions then you should call your OB. My OB keeps telling me that unless my contractions are 5 minutes apart for and hour and last one minute then I should stay home and labor unless I have bleeding or my water breaks and is discolored or has an odor. She also said the body can start preparing for labor a couple of weeks before it actually happens--especially for first time mom's (this is my first).

Probably a bug. Good thing is it will only last a day or so but watch out it is highly contagious so the rest of the family will probably get it.

My contractions were never consistent but I was still in labor and sent to the hospital. I think if you're feeling some pressure, and just not right , you should call your doctor this morning. A lot can happen in a week, so even if nothing was going on at your last visit, it could be now.

I think this could be labor.... keep monitoring, especially if you have anything rhythmic about your pain. Everyone is different, and I had contractions before, but I always knew that "true" labor started after I threw up.

I would call the doctor. This is EXACTLY what happened to me and apparently my water broke and I didn't know it. I felt like complete H-E-L-L! My stomach hurt and I was throwing up and felt like I had to go to the bathroom.
Good luck!!!! This could be it!

I had a terrible sinus infection right before I went into labor - could be the start of something!!

When I had it, it was a few hrs of vomitting and a day or so of feeling like that mack truck ran me over a few times. BY Fri you should be fine.
