anone's DC fall out of bed? / bedrail question
DD is still in a crib at home. Last week she slept at my mom's & we decided to try her in a bed. The directions on the bed rails said to make sure there is 9" between the top of the bed & beginning of the rail so that's what my parents did but she fell through that space Still not sure if she tried to climb out or just fell but I think she just fell in her sleep because my mom had the monitor loud & didn't heat her move or cry just heard a bang Do you follow the directions on the bed rails or do you just put them all the way up by her head? I guess I'll look into the extra long ones when we actually put her in one (which may be in 7 years )

We have the extra long ones and there is room at the top and bottom of the rail that I guess he could roll out but he'd have to be in a little ball to fit. Ds bed is in a corner so with the rail he would really only be able to roll off the foot of the bed. He has done it once. B
It happens and we can only protect so much.

We have extra long too. There is no space open by his head just at the foot of the bed so he can climb down. Never had an issue!
