Possible allergic reaction/Rec. for allergist
Last night we gave DS a cookie made with cashew flour. Within minutes, he went from happy and jumping to complaining his stomach hurt/red eyelids/tiny little bumps near his mouth/sleepy. A half hour later, he was fine.
It was weird because he's had almond butter and peanut butter. We still don't know if it WAS from the cookie but we figure it can't hurt to get it checked out.
Sooo...anyone have a name for an allergist that takes ghi? Someone from western Suffolk to Eastern Queens.

We use Dr. Cristina M. Daian, MD. She has a practice in South Setauket (where we go)as well as Commack.

Try Robert Corriel. I know he takes Emblemhealth GHI and I think he takes GHI. Both my kids see him. He is in a Manhasset.

We took DS to Strauss as well, in the Westbury location. We have GHI.

My nephew is allergic only to cashews.
We see Dr Bruce Edwards in Plainview for DS' nut allergy.

Dr Weiss on. Jericho Tpke in Syosset. My friends son has a lot of food allergies and she swears by him.
