Is it true that they are cheaper on tuesdays? Has anyone personally experienced that?
The flights we need for our vaca come out in a few weeks and they come out on a monday - I was planning on buying the day they are released but someone told me to wait til a tuesday? I cant see it changing in one day, right?

Historically, prices are cheaper on Tuesdays BUT, it isn't always the case.
If they come out on a Monday - I can't see them changing significantly in price on Tuesday.
What airline/time of year are you looking to travel?

Re: buying airfare tickets question
The good thing about southwest is that if the price drops, you can get a credit. I book the flights I want and then check periodically to see if the prices when down and get the credit.
DH bought tickets to FL to see his parents a couple of weeks ago. The r/t ticket was $295. It then dropped to $270 and we got a $25 credit. It's now down to $228, so we have $62 in travel funds which we are using for our next vacation in May.

Yup! I do it all the time. The credit has to be used within a year of the date you first purchased the ticket and it's non-transferable but it's better than nothing and you can do it online. It's one of the few items in the "love" column of my love/hate relationship with southwest.
