maternal fetal specialist
does anyone have experience having a pre-conception visit. I will going in two weeks at winthrop.

It is usually a quick meeting where you review your medical history and see if the doctor is a good fit for you. You will also find out if the MFM specialist will follow you exclusively or if you will also see an OB as well. My MFM specialist follows her patients exclusively which I love since I only have to see one doctor. My pre-conception visit actually turned into my first appointment so the history was expanded to included info from my RE and discussion of early pregnancy progress. Good Luck!

thank you. I didn't realize this dr might follow me. I have to find out if it is safe for me to carry a baby with my medical history. They collected info from all my dr's. I hope we click:)
