Mom's potty trained toddlers
DD is nearly potty trained.. both poop and pee (she was actually poop trained before pee). The past week, she has been holding in her poop. This kid pooped every morning at like clockwork and last week, I had to used suppositories on her twice because she was straining and it was not pleasant. I'm increasing the fiber and slightly decreasing milk and cheese in her diet but she is in this phase of every food placed in front of her is yucky, so it is a hit or miss
Any words of advice. I'm at my wits end.. she won't go on the potty unless she needs to pee and then hops right off. Every morning and evening is a crying and screaming mess. I tried bribing her but she's too smart for that.

Re: Mom's potty trained toddlers
Have you tried reading her a book when she goes potty to distract her. That might give her a chance to poop. My 2nd ds would hop right off as soon as any poop would come and then would have more to do. So I started reading him books to help distract him.
Good Luck

Re: Mom's potty trained toddlers
A small sprinkling of miralax and extra water in her juice should help.
