Baby spitting up a lot
My kids hardly spit up. Thenew baby (2.5 weeks old) has a cold, today he spit up twice, almost like projectile vomit. id this normal or is it related to him being sick. I am so nervous with him being sick. My anxiety level is high. I just want to cry. Everything he does puts me on high alert.

Is he on formula? Being congested & coughing can definitely cause the vomiting ( phlegm build ip) Try keeping him elevated like in a rock n play or papasan chair to help keep congestion down. Try keeping nose clear ect..OR it can be formula (if hes on it) try a sensitive brand..I find Gerber Goodstart stays down for my kids (when I supplemented). Hope your baby feels better soon.

I'd wait til he is better then see if its still happening. If so it could be reflux.

Re: Baby spitting up a lot
Spitting up is totally normal. DS spit up until he was around 8 months old. And it was not a little...it was a lot. All the time. As long as the baby isn't bothered, I wouldn't worry.
