What size bike did you buy your 3 year old?
What size bike did you buy your 3 year old? esp if on the taller side?
12" was too small. 14 or 16? 14 seemed right in the store and she could pedal but spring/summer is months away and wondering how big I should go?
Wondering what others did.

We got 14", as long as the seat is adjustable you should be fine.

My parents bought my 3.5 & 4 year old 16 inch bikes for Xmas. They are perfect & room to grow. My boys are extremely tall for their age

Why does it matter? It's her kid and her money.
I would buy the one that fits right now. Like pp said you could always adjust the seat. I feel like the bigger one might be too difficult and may frustrate your child.
