2nd Birthday party food
Is this enough food for 24 kids (between the ages of 2-3 years old) and 40 adults:
8 Pizza Pies 1 6-foot hero 1 full tray of penne ala voka 1 full tray of cold pasta salad garlic knots full sheet cake
Additional info: the party is at the little gym from 5:30-7:00pm and we are limited in the food since we are not allowed to bring in sternos.
Should I add more food? If so, what?

Honestly, the more "types" of food you get, the more you have to order because people want a piece of everything. They may be happy with one slice of a hero, but if there's pizza there, they would have the hero AND the pizza. I would probably cut the penne a la vodka and just make it cold stuff (some heroes and cold salads, maybe add a green salad) for the adults, and make it clear that the pizza is only for the kids, ordering less pizza.

I'd add a cold salad if you're doing food. I even think more pizzas and getting rid of the pasta is fine. Of, only pizza. All the gym parties I've been to always just had pizza and cake for eveyone.

That sounds delicious and enough. I'm just curious will the place give you enough time for your guests to eat all that?? Places usually give a half hour to food / cake I'm just curious about that if the food is available the entire time that's fine but just a half hour would concern me.

That's an excellent point. From my understanding, its an hour in the gym and 30 minutes in the party room to eat. I will probably just stick with all pizza then.

Yeah then I would keep it all pizza. That last half hour goes by so quick!
