when did you switch your child from the infant seat to convertible?
At 4 months or so. Dd2 is big and the infant seat was heavy and she didn't have much room and was getting the limits and dd1 was in the convertible so I bought dd1 a new seat and dd2 got the convertible. I switched dd1 early as well about 6 months

At 12 months. She was well under the weight/height limit, but it didn't seem as cushy and comfy to her anymore. She was getting cranky in the carrier. She now enjoys car rides again!

Around 14 months for ds #1 and 15 months for ds#2. We moved when they hit the height limit.

10 months with DS # 1. DS # 2 is 10 months now and he still fits in his infant seat so we are trying to hold off until his 1st birthday.

DD is almost 10 months and I haven't switched. It's too heavy for me to carry but I just leave the seat in the car now and take just her in and out.
I am not switching until she nears the height/weight limits, she'll hit height first because she's a lightweight.

Late. Around 14-15 months. She's small though for her age.
We were late also - around 16 months.

We kept both our boys in the infant seat until they reached either the height limit (both hit that before the weight limit). My first was 18 months and second was 15 months.

Still in at 15 mo but they are at the height limit so we need to switch ASAP. We usually leave them in the car but they fell asleep the car the other day so we carried them in.

they started getting too heavy to take the infant carrier out of the base around 6 months, so we just left the carrier in the car like a convertible and used it until when they hit the height limit, which ws 11 months.
This but they were not the height or weight til 18m. And I will keep them tear facing until they hit the rear facing weight limit

Depends on your seat. We have the Chicco Keyfit 30 which is 30 lbs/30 inches. The Graco 32 is 32 lbs/32 inches I believe.
The limits should be in your manual, or look them up on the internet.
We moved him at 6 months because he was getting close to the weight limit and he was heavy to carry.
