If Diagnosed with Gd.....
What's the plan as far as drs? Do you still see just your OB or do you need to see a high risk dr. I already see a high risk dr for mild clotting disorder that I was supposed to be discharged from until they found pyelectasis on a sono so now I continued seeing him for monthly sonos. Would GD be another reason to continue with my high risk or does the regular OB handle it. Is there additional testing?
I haven't been diagnosed yet but I have a feeling I have it. Going for the 3 hour tomorrow.

I'm going to Madonna (high risk) for GD but my dr loves to refer out to them so I'm not sure if it is a high risk dr thing or ob thing

I was already seeing a MFM for pregnancy induced hypertension so my regular MFM also reviews my blood sugar #'s.

i still go to my reg OB but have to visit the MFM nutritionists every 1-2 week

When I had GD I had to see an endocrinologist throughout the remainder of both my pregnancies.
