I have three DC and I know I will ALWAYS wonder "what if..." I just never did get that DONE feeling everyone said I would. However, my sanity is stretched to the breaking point, plus I'm 40, plus one can't keep having babies indefinitely, so...I'm done.

This is me almost exactly.
We both knew 100% we wanted a third. After he was born, we said we were DONE. Financially, sanity, etc. I gave away all my maternity clothes. Now and then though, I get a craving for a fourth but I know we would just be so overwhelmed so its not going to happen. So, I am cherishing the toddlerhood of our third child!

I have three healthy children my daughter is 10 and I have twins that are 4. I always says I would love to have another one but financially I think it would be to much. DH is fine with three and he does not want anymore. I miss the baby stage so much but right now my kids are so independent so to go back would be really hard. I have no more baby stuff we got rid of everything so we would have to buy all new stuff. I know the feeling your having thou

I have a girl and a boy. Pretty much right after we had DS we both decided we were pretty much done. I think now that DS is almost 2 we aren't as definite. I really don't know. I still think we are done, BUT...who knows. I think if we were to have another it would be once DS is in Pre-k which is another 2 years.

See, I never had babyitis.. but damn do I miss my baby tits! Those things were SPECTACULAR when my milk came in!

We have 2 boys already  and will be having a 3rd one day. I've always wanted 4 kids. My husband says no more than 3.
I get why he says that (college, it's expensive, etc), not to mention it would be nice to move on past all the baby stuff.
I'm sure i'll be very sad to be done after 3.  
i love being pregnant. i love the baby stage. I love the noise and filling the house.
if i could be a surrogate in NY, i so would!

Well there's a bill out now that will hopefully change the surrogacy laws in NY!

After my second was born I felt ok with having 2! They were both healthy and happy. Now that my youngest is close to 2 I really want one more. Dh has wanted a 3rd for a while. I just had back surgery and now I'm worried carrying a 3rd won't happen. I really miss the baby stage but I know they all grow up. If I get clearance for my back we are going to ttc this year.

I go back and forth on a daily basis. I am done for so many reasons. I have two healthy girls, we're stretched tight financially already. My girls share a room and if we had a third, that baby would be squeezed in there, as well. They fit in there perfectly right now. I want to take my girls to Disney next year and if I am pregnant/have a newborn, i'd have to go back again for that baby when it was older. My kids come to work with me everyday and if I have another one next year, i'll be stuck for another 5 years. My husband wants four. He definitely doesn't feel done. I miss being pregnant and would love to give birth to another baby. I know all of my being 'done' reasons are kind of dumb, but i'm just not sure. I don't exactly feel 'done', but i'm not totally sure i'm ready to have another. One of my best friends just got engaged and their wedding is in December. I decided to hold off on TTC until after their wedding, so I have time now to make my decision.

I had 2 DDs, and really wanted more children. I had a MC before and after DD#2, and then just didn't get PG...didn't avoid it, it just didn't happen. Last January, I got an offer for a great professional opportunity, which really would not work for me with another baby, so I finally accepted my family of 4, and was happy with my family the way it was. I started looking forward to this new professional opportunity. Well, lo and behold, I found myself PG 2 months later! Now that DS is 2 months old, I find myself again wanting another baby. We are definately done, due to my age, finances, size of house, etc... but I'm sad about it.
For you, I say that if the itch is still there after life moving on, you probably really still want to grow your family.
