If you had fertility issues for your 1st dc
Did you have to go through fertility treatments for your 2nd? Dh and I decided we are going to wing it and let nature takes its course. For my first it took 18m to get pregnant, had unexplained IF and finally got pregnant with combo drugs and iui's. Dd will be 9m next week and Dh just suggested we stop using bc and see if it happens. I said we will try for a year and will see what happens.

We did a b2b medicated IUI w/trigger cycle to get pg with DS1. Got pg with DS2 our 2nd month of trying. 1st month did nothing, 2nd month used OPK. We were very lucky. Prior to DS1 I woudn't get my period for months (PCOS) but after having DS1 I would get my period every 28 days like clockwork. Eventually my cycles started getting longer 32 days (when DS1 was 3 yo)and I decided that it was time to try for DC2 before things with my fertility got too wacky again. GL!

IVF for twins. Surprise pregnancy when they were 11mo. It was the best feeling. Unfortunately I had a MC. I was pregnant again 4 weeks later. Doing IVF for #4. My OB said MANY of her patients who had to see an RE for DC#1 get pregnant naturally.

I had clomid/iui with my first. I got pg on my own when dd was 8 months but it ended in mc. When my oldest was a year we decided to go back to the RE and got pg on our first iui/clomid cycle and that cycle resulted in my second dd.

GonalF/IUI for both my older DS and my twin DS. We want a fourth, but the thought of having another set of multiples is so intimidating. I hope my pregnancies have helped my PCOS so we can conceive another DC naturally. Only time will tell!

It took 5 IVFs for me to get pregnant with my DS. 6 months later I got pregnant with my daughter naturally.

Needed clomid and a trigger shot to get pregnant the first time (with twins!) Then got pregnant without any help at all (and slightly unexxpectedly) when my twins were 12 months. Also adding that when I wanted to get pregnant the first time my periods were all over the place and totally unpredictable but after my first pregnancy they have been right on time.

IVF for our 1st. He was not even 1 when we started trying again, but it wasn't happening (naturally) so when my son was 2y/o, we did another IVF and got pregnant -- ended in m/c though. 3rd try was FET, and we had DS2. Lo and behold, he was 8 mos old when we found out I was expecting our 3rd. I didn't even know I was already 2 mos preggy and the only clue that got us scrambling for a hpt was when I got that peculiar whiff of my mom smelling this perfume-scent-that-I-only-smell- of-her-when-I-am-pregnant !!! :) Shock of our life!!!! Never imagined it will happen! We weren't ready for sure, but we welcomed the 3rd with open arms and as much excitement (despite me feeling guilty that DS #2 was still so young). What a wonderful, wonderful blessing! And best of all, we had a girl!

I had a similar experience.
2 cycles of clomid for DS 1. Periods regulated after he was born and I didn't need any assistance to get pregnant with DS 2.

I had 2 misses and then 3 Injectable IUI's to get my son which took a total of 17 months. I stopped using protection when my son was 20 months and got pregnant that following month. 1ST TIME! I swore I was never going to be that lucky. I am now 4 1/2 months : )

Did IUI with my ds. Got pregnant the second try. Tried to go without intervention and try for #2. After 3 years we ended up going back to see a specialist.

Not trying yet for #2 just yet, but I am hoping when I do, that I don't need to go back to the RE. I really don't know how I am going to balance going to monitoring appointments and arranging for care very early in the morning for DS, and make it to work on time.

It took us years to have DD, she was the result of my 3rd IVF.
We were not yet trying for #2 (but not preventing either) and surprise, surprise - BFP!!
