Got a message with my blood work numbers. I'm waiting for another call back with what they mean. Can anyone explain these numbers to me? Blood work done at 7 weeks 5 days (according to FF) hCG 136,976 Progesterone 17
I have an appointment for next Wednesday of a Sono and more blood work.

Blood work numbers?
i dont know why they bothered to tell you. Those #s are only significant when they are repeated after 48hrs in very early pregnancy.

Re: Blood work numbers?
Was this blood work done at your 1st OB appointment? If so, it was just probably to confirm pregnancy, which based on those numbers you definately are

Yes, first appointment. Saw baby and heart beat. Concern was that the heart beat was very slow. Doctor said that this could go either way. She didn't give me numbers on the heartbeat. But we could see the heart going very slowly.

That the heartbeat gets stronger.

yeah its odd they even gave you the numbers - with my first pregnancy i never knew them bc everything was fine. with this pregnancy i knew them all bc my progesterone was so low they were worried
your numbers sound normal - i guess they just wanted to follow up and let you know they got the results?
