Difference between 24mos and 2T
My DD has always been very small for her age so even though she's 21mos she's still mostly wearing 12-18mos clothes. As always it depends on the brand and fit. I've been trying to plan for spring and summer when it comes to sales etc. Is there really any difference in size between 24mos and 2T clothes? Any advice would be appreciated!

Yes I think so. It's my understanding that 2t is the next size up from 24mos. 2t is a bigger size than 24mos. (I think).

Difference between 24mos and 2T
2T is longer and leaner than 24 months. What is her body type? Is she tall and/or lean?
We pretty much skipped 2T and went from 24mo to 3T

24m has diaper room where 2T is cut slimmer.

I agree. Found 24 months to be wider and shorter, 2T longer and leaner. My son was average height and thin. I preferred 2T to 24 months and felt 2T lasted us longer. But I know others who feel opposite.

Re: Difference between 24mos and 2T
24 months seems to have more room in the bottom area for the diaper. 2t does seem more leaner. My kids were always tall and skinny so we went more for 2T especially in the summer as it is shorts and my concern is the waist and not the length.

My DD is the same way, so I have been wondering the same thing. She's 19 months, and she's wearing 12-18 months now. I bought some 24 month stuff for the spring and summer, but it looks huge. From these responses, I'm thinking that 2T might be better. She's 5-10th percentile for weight (21 lbs, 3 oz), and 50th percentile for height, so long and lean pretty much describes her.

This.
Some 2T is also a little longer than 24 months.
