2.5 yo w/ not quite diarrhea
For the past 2 days my DD has been going more frequently than normal (normal is once-twice/day), and it's been very loose. (Sorry, tmi). She's going around 4 times per day. Over the weekend we stayed at my mom's and she ate a lot of random things, including practically an entire tomato in one sitting. So I think it just may have been a combo of things she ate. She is not complaining of stomach ache and is acting fine otherwise. I've been letting her have a pedialyte pop at night just to make sure she's not getting dehydrated, but she's drinking normally throughout the day.
What foods should I give her to let her tummy have a rest?

You could try a modified BRAT diet- bananas, rice, apples, toast. That should help bind her a bit. Stay away from anything too sugary. Lots of water, if she will drink it.

Bananas , rice Both binding. Avoid juices and I would avoid milk too
